During my tenure at DesignWorkshop, the landscape design for the Mountain View Corridor was divided into five distinct districts. Some districts respond to the adjacent land use, while others address the Daybreak community’s need for expansive play fields and Community Supported Agriculture.

Careful consideration was given to the power-line corridor, adhering to prescribed restrictions for structures and vegetation. Alternative power generation was also proposed through the integration of wind turbines with existing structures. Pedestrian bridges spanning across the travel lanes are envisioned to mimic the appearance of the power-line structures, thereby creating a cohesion and personality.
